Newton Art Scene

I am so excited to be participating in the Newton Open Studios! Over 150 Newton artists in 50 locations throughout the city  – an incredible array of talent. It’s such a privilege to be able to exhibit my work in my hometown alongside so many others. This free, non-profit event has been running in Newton since 1985, and has grown into one of the largest open studios events in the area!

We are located at Prospect Avenue Gallery ~ 66 Beaumont Ave ENTRANCE on Prospect      April 9th & 10th 11am to 5pm

So please join me in celebrating the arts! Take a break from your typical weekend carpool/workout/errand routine and stop by for a visual treat. I’m showing a collection of my new work – here are a few images to whet your appetite:

My gallery mates are two talented and lovely Newton artists, Lindsay Pike and Claire Ryan-Robertson  Lindsay creates beautiful, organic ceramic pieces.

And Claire’s encaustic paintings are simply stunning.

I really hope you can spend some time checking out the Newton talent – I promise, you won’t be disappointed!
